There is a small sign and unassuming dirt road that will lead you to the entrance of Gunstock Ranch. If you want to experience a not so touristed out Oahu’s countryside, then this is the place to go for a ride.

 

1 Hour Scenic Experience ($82)

1.5 Hour Scenic Ride ($95)

• Only a $13 price difference compared to the 1 Hour Scenic Experience
• Great for all adults and I mentioned 1 Hour ride is suitable for family with kids, because some younger kids may have hard time concentrating or staying with the same activity for more than an hour. When you take your child to a theater and they can sit through a movie, then this option will be just fine. Because it’s 30 mintues longer, you get to go a little deeper into the ranch valley, and the view will be just a little better –
  perhaps better might not be the right word – becaues 1 hour ride isn’t lacking, but this will give you more beautiful scenery. This will be able to go a little deeper into the mountain side and there are some scenic spot that 1 hour ride just can’t get you there, but it just might be the highlight of this longer tour.

Pony Ride for Kids ($45)

Excellent choice for children 2-7

The Pony Ride for Kids is a 30-minute “horse experience” that is ideal for children between the ages of 2-7 years old. Children 6 and under will be lead or “ponied” by a wrangler. Older children or even adults are welcome to purchase one of these experiences too if they want to ride a horse alongside their child. Children are allowed to feed and pet their horse after they are put in the saddle and taken on a 20 min. walk. out on the ranch. Parents are welcome to walk along side their child and take pictures along the way (at no charge). Ride time is set to your availability. This is a fun experience to allow a young child the opportunity to ride a horse in a safe and controlled setting.

1.5 Hour Sunset Experience ($105)

Enjoy the Sunset Skies and Cooler Weather

The Sunset horseback ride is a 1.5 hr guided experience. This ride goes out in the cooler portion of the day and riders experience the beautiful Hawaiian sunset skies while on horseback. This is a walking only ride and no trotting or cantering will be allowed. This is a great ride for the whole family. This ride is suitable for all skill levels ages 7 and up. No pregnant riders will be allowed. Our weight limit for any rider is 240 lbs.

This ride winds through mountain trails with occasional ocean views. The highlight spot is our scenic lookout which provides a great view of the Windward side of Oahu. This is a great picture taking spot so bring your camera. We work to keep our ride sizes small because we want our guest to feel like they have experienced a true Paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy) horseback ride. Guests are likely to see wild pigs, cattle, and other horses roaming through our mountain trails.

Advanced Trail Ride ($135)

If you’re an experienced rider looking for some “giddy-up!” on your ride, our Advanced Trail Ride combines the beauty of the Hawaiian country in Oahu with the adventure of skilled riding.

This is a 1 hr guided experience that gives you the opportunity for controlled trotting and cantering within the ride. You must have previous riding experience, minimum of 30 rides and need to be comfortable with a faster pace of riding.

Sweetheart Experience (Private) ($139)

The Sweetheart Horseback Ride is a 2 hour, private party experience. One of our wranglers will guide guests through our mountain trails to a nice scenic lookout spot and dismount them. A picnic lunch will be provided and the wrangler will leave the party alone for 1/2 hour private time to enjoy lunch and a beautiful ocean view. This ride is suitable for all skill levels. Minimum 2 riders. No pregnant riders will be allowed. This is a great way to spend “sweetheart time”, celebrate birthdays or special occasions. Since this ride is private for your party, you may have as many guests along as you would like. If you are comfortable on horses and would like to add some advanced ride features we can adjust that ride for you since it is a private party. Our weight limit for any rider is 240 lbs., strictly enforced.
